Felted Fairies- good Io

A felted fairy sculpture, measuring approx. 11 inches in height. Her vivid blue eyes are set off by mohair curls dyed in a blend of fuchsia, purple, and blue. Her pink bodice and tulle skirt are embellished with felted flowers and Swarovski crystals. Felted flowers adorn her hair. Built on an armature wireframe, her body is poseable. Most unusual are her moth wings. Styled on the Io moth that gives this fairy her name, the vivid yellow wings are both soft and striking at good the same time.
