This is a fabulous vintage Christmas tin. It once held 4lbs of Huntley & Palmer's "Christmas Assorted" which is a lot of biscuits! It dates to the 1960's and is as bright and cheerful as a festive tin should be. The lid shows a coach and horses being driven across a snowy evening landscape. There's a country cottage with smoke from the chimney, a perfect crescent moon and a lovely holly border on a red background. The images around the sides show more of the same as the coach and its occupents travel the countryside. The Huntly & Palmer logo is present too.
This Christmas tin is in very good condition for its age good with bright colours and light wear. There is some tarnishing to the base and inside, but no rust.
This Huntley & Palmer's tin measures 23cm x 22cm x 12cm so is perfect for holding a Christmas cake or an assortment of your own - either to store or give as a present.
