Breathing of the Earth. Original Mixed Media Assemblage Art,Wall Hanging Sculpture,Primitive Art,Assemblage Art,Found Objects,Wall good Sculpture
This piece consists of reclaimed wood, a vintage postcard, a swatch of rubber material from an old pair of waders, bent rusty nails, carpet tacks, and miscellaneous antique paper and fiber elements. The rusty nails protrude from the piece; a tetanus shot is recommended before handling.
This artwork measures about 14-1/4 inches tall by about 4-3/8 inches wide. The text reads, "The breathing of the earth."
There is a hanger attached to the back.
An important note about my mixed media and assemblage pieces:
The materials with which I've chosen to make my art -- old sections of wood and different kinds of vintage papers and fibers – are organic and frequently subject to "independent" behavior as they age. Old untreated wood can shrink; antique papers can be porous or dry, fibers can degrade. Each piece I make is unique, and, depending on its components, some flexing, curling, shrinking, movement, or minor flaking or shedding may naturally occur as the artwork evolves. Although your piece should generally behave, please feel free to contact me should it become overly ... unruly :)
I do refund shipping overages. good
