RARE Antique Landers Frary & Clark Vacuum Bottle Coffee Serving Pot Pat Pen 1914.
This was an estate sale find, hidden way back in a closet covered in dust. As a fan of chipped paint on metal I spotted it right away.
There are plenty "carafe" "coffee pot", etc to be found, but none in this color, nor have I been able to find any with this unique cork stopper.
The patent pending refers to the vacuum bottle located inside the Carafe. The first date of Oct 13, 1914, correlates to patent no. 111-3357, filed on the same date and assigned to Landers, Frary, and Clark.
This is a very unique piece and I have been unable to locate any similar type pitchers dating before the patent was granted.
Please review all pictures, as stated - the enamel has chipped away in good multiple spots.
I just did a very light cleaning on this to remove the dust.
Yes this is 2 different shades of green. The top is close to a hunter green, and the bottom is close to an emerald green.
