Vintage creamer set, small jug and bowl, Belleek china creamer, Irish parian china, milk and sugar

This dainty and delicate little creamer set of milk jug and sugar bowl is made from the famous translucent Parian china of the Belleek Pottery in Ireland. Pattern is known good as "embossed basket weave" for obvious reasons. The painted decoration of shamrocks and trailing stems is hand painted.

The green back stamp is from the fourth period indicating that the set was made between 1946 and 1955.

A useful little set for milk and sugar but also looks good enough just to display.

Dimensions - jug stands 3 1/2 inches / 8.5 cm tall and sugar bowl is 2 inches / 5 cm tall. Both pieces are in perfect condition.
