good This tote bag is made from recycled laminate sail cloth, in this case the mains'l from the J/88 #31 Alchemy. It includes a replica of the J/88 class insignia, and the original measurement label and Quantum sailmaker's label from the same boat's jib. The dimensions are approximately 13" x 13" x 8". The bag has 6 external pockets built in to hold additional easy-to-reach items such as cell phones or water bottles. The cloth is stiff and while not as flexible, will hold its shape.
Our tote bags made from recycled sails contains some of the original patina, including stitching, as well as remains of tell-tales, batten pockets, and other character of a used sail. No two are alike.
Sail cloth is synthetic mylar laminate. While not waterproof it does not shrink or fade when wet, and dries easily.
