Here we have a lovely set of eight clear glass, depression-era tumblers. They are made of blown glass and are decorated with needle-etching in a stylized geometric chevron pattern encircling the upper part of the glass. This type of glass and the use of needle etching was popular in the 1920s-30s. They are not marked.

In a former life, I think these glasses were meant to be used as juice glasses, but in this day and age they beg to be used as classy stemless wine glasses. Like the wine glasses of today, they are lightweight and delicate. If you are looking for something different, yet elegant, to use as a wine glass, or possibly for its original use as a juice glass, this just might be it. This set would also make a lovely wedding or shower gift. Add a nice bottle of wine and you're all set!

- 9 Oz. capacity (when filled to the rim)
