This blank is from the classic pen maker Conway Stewart. The factory that produced these blanks is no longer in production.
The material looks a little like broken glass shards, it really is something a little special.
I have hand good turned and finished the pen to an excellent shine and it dresses the chrome pen kit beautifully.
