Beautiful Kramer Teal Blue Brooch Earring demi set in very good condition. The brooch measures approx. 2 1/2" X 1 1/2" earrings are 1 inch in diameter. They are made with round cut teal blue rhinestones with gold plated metal for the backing and the trim. earrings are cluster style with clip on backings. Nice designer demi set from the 1960s-70s. Brooch is signed Kramer New York, earrings are not signed, and may not be an exact match, but it goes together very nicely as a married set as well. Use your own judgement. Kramer (NY) is featured in many jewelry books and was chosen to be Christian Dior's US manufacturer in 1950's. Beautiful designs and prong set Austrian crystal rhinestones make these pieces sparkling beauties desirable to collectors. Kramer was founded by Louis Kramer in 1943, and the business was closed sometime around 1980. While the style of the jewelry changed with the times, the quality of the pieces is always excellent, with stones almost always being prong set.
