These steel and copper earrings feature a delicate-looking hexagon steel honey comb. Wear them when you want unique jewelry that doesn't claim all the attention.

PROCESS:
* I started with steel sheet, cleaned it of all oils, & sawed it into the pointy shape. I rounded and smoothed the points.
* I then fused the copper to the sheet steel using a very hot torch.
* The honey comb perforated steel, was cut and bent. It was then soldered to the sheet so as to be elevated and add more dimensionality.
* I blackened the earrings and them removed the patina to reveal the texture of the copper.
* Finally, everything is carefully waxed and buffed.
