Eastlake Victorian good marble top parlor table for resto PICKUP or SHIPPING options

This was a very high quality parlor table for its era in the 1880s, with some obvious Eastlake styling, substantially built of walnut. It's seen some use and abuse over the years, with rather large chips out of the edge of the marble top and a very thick coat of old white paint. The working flat surface on top is still useable the way it is despite the flaws. It has some strange green tinted areas over the paint. I'm not sure if they were trying to mimic a verdigris finish or what the idea was there. It's useable the way it is if you prefer an old worn and dated appearance, possibly work it into a boho theme. I suspect the green tint could be removed from the paint with oven off- I've done this before to remove brown glaze over painted pieces in the past. Or consider stripping the whole unit and refinishing in your color of choice from the wood up.

Structurally it is very good secure and sturdy. Of course, what you find under the paint I can't guarantee, but it looks in my opinion like a straight-forward refinishing project.

The marble is removeable.
