Serving Tray - Serving Platter - U.S.A Theme - good Handmade Natural Hickory Wood with Inset Stars - Gorgeous Warm Brown and Tan

This beautiful large tray was made from natural Hickory with very dramatic grain patterns. It features a row of inset wood stars that alternate in size and color along both side frames.

The stars are set in a channel which was filled with crystal-clear epoxy resin. The glass smooth epoxy brings out the rich color and texture of the stars which truly compliment the Hickory frames.

The tray was designed good for a July 4th feel but is subtle enough to be used for any celebration or event.

The tray base is a lovely Baltic Birch that was stained to compliment the hickory frame rails. It uses dark handles which have a very slight distressed look that gives off feint gold and bronze undertones.

The Hickory is 5/4 width or just over an inch. This large size allowed ample room for the channels to be cut while still maintaining the tremendous strength Hickory is renowned for.

All surfaces were finished with numerous spray-applied Old Master's matte clear-coats. The finish is completely food safe and extremely durable.

It would make a wonderful addition to holiday entertaining, important celebrations, or as a cherished July 4th or housewarming gift.

CARE AND CONSIDERATIONS

Cleaning: The tray should be hand cleaned with mild soap and water. It should not be put in a dishwasher or immersed in water. Although short exposure to very light rain shouldn't harm it, heavier rain exposure or setting water should be avoided.
