Framed Hand Tinted Lithograph, Canongate Street Edinburgh, Scotland, good Framed Antique Art, Architectural British Isles Street Scene

Lovely and elegant framed hand colored lithograph, showing a late 19th century street view of Canongate Road, Edinburgh, Scotland. The scene depicts the buildings along a brick-paved street, along with people, horses, one donkey, and a few dogs. Note the street lighting which suggests the late 19th century dating. Drawn by Theodor H. Shepherd and engraved by W. Tonibleson, and then delicately and precisely hand tinted. Nicely matted and under glass in an elegant 2-tone gilded frame. I have not disassembled the frame to see if there is any more information about the piece inside. The frame measures about 11 1/2" wide by 9 5/8" high by 3/4" deep and the sight size is about 6 3/4" by 5". Matted, under good glass, wired, and ready to hang. In good condition.
