Taffeta and cotton batiks fabrics were appliquéd to a layered foundation of fabric and quilt batting. Inspired by Crazy Quilt Patchwork, the edges of each piece of fabric were embroidered with copper metallic thread. The red and gold-colored autumn maple leaf was dried and pressed. One side was coated with a neutral pH adhesive and when dried was heat fused to the surface of the quilted collage. Ready to hang from an ivory colored, ¼” satin ribbon stitched to the reverse side.

-Approximately 7.5" long by 5.25"
-Approx. 12” long including the hanging ribbon


Initialed “LMO” with a black fine tip marker (waterproof and acid-free).
