Spring awaits IV good - photoencaustic painting

Spring Awaits IV began as a 3D project using a small dressform, a bird cage and a tall candle stand - that piece now sits in my living room but I couldnt resist taking some photos and altering them just a bit in photoshop. For this painting I used one of the photos and embedded it into the wax and sealed good it with more wax. The origional dressform was painted with cold wax and oils and has a very spring look to her.
The sides are unpainted , instead I used a wood burning tool and sealed them.
