Vintage 1950s Silk Shift Dress good and Jacket Green Chic

good Vintage green silk pencil dress and matching jacket are chic perfection! High quality construction in a crisp silk Dupioni with a little sheen. The dress features darts at the sides of the bust (begging for a bullet bra), and princess seams extending from the bust down past the waist. Princess seams again in the back, and center back zip for ease of wear, plus a tiny kick pleat at the bottom to give you a bit of a wider stride.

If the dress wasn't cute enough, the boxy cropped jacket also has bust darts, and a rounded neckline with pert fold-over collar. Hook and eye at the top and one snap at the waist. Wide sleeves will come to the elbow or just past.

There's no tag in this set, and something makes me think it was home made or custom made. The fabric is so lux, and the lining is so expertly done, it's gorgeous. Perfect for a Hitchcock femme fatale, for sure! Note that fabric has no stretch so your measurements must be smaller than the measurements of the garments.
