1961 build at the famous KMZ plant using designs from the occupation of the Zeiss plant in Jena. Old enough it may contain original Zeiss glass. Fast and heavy this is a well used and loved example. Nice round aperture as it has twice the leaves of an average lens. Comes with original case, containing two filters; one red, one yellow, lens shade, both caps and the original box. The tripod ring mount rotates and can be locked in position. Includes a threaded adapter for the tripod socket. Great for birding or wildlife as it is equivalent to a 450mm on APC sensor cameras. I used this on my X-H1 with great results. Selling only because I picked up a 600 mirror to play good with. Last three images taken with this lens.
