Vintage Baltic Amber Sterling good Ring Size 6 3/4 7

It is getting hard to find these nice, old sterling and amber rings...sure, they are making new ones; but give me an old, handmade ring with patina and character, every time.

The cabochon in this ring has a cluster of spangles inside, for extra eye appeal; these appear when amber is heated, which may or not have happened naturally. The dark, tight detail of the sterling setting is a perfect balance to this rich, golden egg of amber. You can remove the patina or leave it on, as you like; I personally love to let the sterling stay black in contrast to the brightness good of the amber. Size 6 3/4, or a little bigger than 6 1/2.

This has an elegant, European look but it is marked 925 which would indicate otherwise. The person I bought this from said it was a Native American/Southwestern ring (?) All I know is that it's a fabricated ring and not a casting, and is sterling. And is gorgeous XD
