Antique bridal headpiece and good buttonholes, orange blossom bridal parure vintage, Edwardian bridal parure and buttonieres from France

A rare French antique bridal parure possibly from the late 1800s / early 1900s featuring a silk flower and pearl headpiece, tulle orange blossom posy and three boutonnières.
The silk flowers and leaves are hand painted.

CIRCA: late 1800s - 1920s

COLOUR: ivory / cream / white and soft greens

MEASURES:

1. Headpiece:

Wire headband length 30cm / 12”

Width of floral and pearl spray 24cm/ 9 1.2”

2. Posy:

Height 16cm / 6 1/2”

Width 15cm / 6”

3. Boutonnières:

Each button hole flowers measuring 11cm / 4 1/4” high x 5cm / 2” wide

MADE FROM: tulle / silk / cotton / artificial pearls / wire

MADE IN: France

CONDITION: Absolutely exquisite and alas showing its age, this parer has been loved and cherished for more than 100 years. Some age spotting on the flowers and leaves, slight discolouration to the wire headband at the points, the silk satin ribbon on the headpiece has yellowed a bit in places. It is absolutely beautiful as it is but of course good it can be enhanced with new silk flowers / tulle in places and the ribbon can be replaced if desired.
