Marsh good View

good This is an original oil painting done plein air, which means it was painted outside on location in the natural light.
I have the pleasure of visiting Folly Beach recently and love the beauty of the colors and light and warm sea breezes, especially in the spring. It was a very windy day but I was determined to get out and paint after such a long winter painting indoors. I found this tucked away spot near the local seafood market and was to paint this small canvas without being blown away! It is very inspiring for my plein air painting to be at the beach and have a change of scenery also. It measures 8 x 10 and is available unframed.
