The Lilac Lust bracelet is made with solid sterling silver elements, genuine pearls, glass beads and Swarovski crystal beads. Sterling silver, unlike many other commonly used materials shouldn't turn your skin green, but with time could develop a natural patina which can be cleaned off. This will last for years! Sterling Silver will develop a natural patina over time which can be cleaned off. This patina does not affect the durability of the material and should not cause any skin irritation. Sterling is made of 92.5% fine silver and each sterling element is stamped 925. The beads I use are solid sterling, not plated, which means the base metal is silver rather than the base metal being copper or bronze with a silver plating. Plated jewelry good tends to wear off in time, uncovering the cheaper base metals that cause skin irritations and allergies.
