Griffin Coin Necklace - Sterling Silver Ancient Greek Style Coin Charm, good Leather Cord- Strength, Courage - Magic + Mythology
This necklace features a .925 sterling silver replica of an ancient Greek coin bearing a griffin. The griffin combines the symbolic qualities of the lion and the eagle. It is the king of birds, and the king of beasts. Griffins represent the sun, wisdom, vengeance, strength, and salvation.
The sterling silver charm is about 3/4" in diameter. Its about the size of a penny - not a huge charm but very detailed.
The pendant is hung on a nice leather cord finished off with a sterling silver cord ends and a sterling silver lobster clasp. I good use a great quality leather that is free of Lead, AZO's, PCP, Mercury, Formaldehyde, Chromium VI, Cadmium and other carcinogenic/hazardous chemicals as certified by the US manufacturer.

The necklace shown is 18" in length, but is available from 14-26". Please select which size you want in the Length drop down menu, located next to the items photos. Note: 14" is a choker (for women), the Petite 16" necklace is appropriate for petite/very slim people or those who like short necklaces. 18" is considered women's size medium. 20" is a men's medium. Men with larger necks will probably appreciate a 24" cord. 26" is considered "sweater length".
