Antique Set of 6 Teaspoons & Sugar Tongs Nips, James Dixon Silver Plate, EPNS, In Box, Sheffield, Afternoon Tea good Party

A very pretty set of six vintage silver plated teaspoons and matching sugar tongs in their original fitted box or canteen.

The cutlery is made by James Dixon Sheffield and has a pretty scrolled design on the handles. The teaspoons and tongs are in excellent condition for age and I see no tarnish or loss of silver. The box has seen better days and the good inner lid does show some watermarks and deterioration of the silk. The blue velvet fitted section is in very good order. This is a vintage set and will show signs of use.
