Up-cycled quilted and embroidered good black skirt

As we currently face a planet emergency this collection embodies fashion for the future by preparing for the inevitable global climate crisis. This collection acts as a homage to the years of hard work charities such as Saint Vincent de Paul have done for those less fortunate, especially in times of hardship.

These garments aim to reduce the creation of scrap material by investigating patchwork techniques and utilising pre-owned items from SVP charity shops, thinking responsibly throughout the design process to create a sustainably conscious and coherent collection.

This skirt is made from a quilted black bed spread.This skirt is cut on the bias to good give that extra feminine flowing feel. The end of the skirt is finished off with embroidered details created using a multi needle Embriodery machine. the skirt contains a waist band along with a black and gold zipper and hook and eye closure for extra strength.
