Antique early 1900s Woven good Wool Plaid Blanket, dark colors, Fringed

Early 1900s wool or wool /cotton woven blanket. It has been well cared for with no moth damage.

It has fringe on two sides with small sections of fringe missing only in the sections where the wool was died red. Colors are strong deep bluish black, deep gray, red, and ivory. There is hand whip stitching in black on the sides.

Pictured here on a twin bed. Fits nicely folded on the foot of a bed or over a couch back. There small ivory threads here and there and are part of the foundation of the weave-- and should not be pulled or cut, lest the foundation be compromised.

Intricate plaid design with many of interwoven threads. Still has the dry cleaning tag from the previous owner.
