Product code: Aaron Copland - What To Listen For In Music 1939 Scarce HBDJ 1st Printing(?) Free Shipping good

Here is a scarce first printing of Aaron Copland's What To Listen For in Music. McGraw-Hill, 1939, HBDJ. No printing or edition listed, which leads me to believe it is a first (McGraw-Hill normally didn't state edition until 1956).

Copland is, of course, one of the great composers of the 20th century, best known for works his uniquely American works like Appalachian Spring, Rodeo and Billy the Kid. Overall in lovely condition, some wear to the very rare price clipped DJ, fading on spine, small tear, clean and tight inside. A wonderful addition to any music library!
