Vintage McCoy Pottery vase from their popular "Flower Form" line. It was produced in in Zanesville, Ohio in 1950 and came in yellow or white.
Signed McCoy USA on the bottom.
On pages 180- 191 of the Hanson Nissan McCoy collector book is a Chapter titled "Gold Trim Pieces" which shows similar pieces. (see photos). Most of the gold trim ceramics were sold to the Shafer Company of Zanesville, Ohio, and they added 23k gold trim enhancements and sold them themselves.
Design features 3 lilies with 3 good corresponding holes or sections to hold flowers. Glaze colors are shiny as opposed to the original matte yellow, green and gold on the flowers leaves, pedestal and top rim.
Heavy ceramic vase measures 7 inches tall by 7 inches wide by 3.5 inches deep. The 3 lilies with green leaves sit on a rectangular base or pedestal.
It is in very good vintage condition with a great mold. The glaze is a little uneven in places, minor gold loss trim on top. Pedestal has some very fine dots probably during the paint application.
There is not much crazing, and no cracks or chips. Just some typical McFlaws as they are called.
