This is one of those cards that you just don't see very often. It's a super-rare, 74-year-old Japanese menko card of the superhero Batman from 1949. This unique set was made by the Kagome company and is die-cut in an unusual "peanut" shape. The set as a whole consists of actors, comedians, baseball players, and several superheroes and characters from the 1940s. This Batman card good is the highlight of the set. The back of the card has the Kagome six-sided star logo on the bottom left, and says "Batman" in Japanese vertically down the center. It measures approximately 1.5 inches at the widest part and 2.5 inches tall. This card showcases the iconic style of Japanese menko cards, with a colorful illustration & beautiful design. Menko is a Japanese game very similar to Pogs in the US, and has been played for a very long time in Japan. The cards were thrown and played with very roughly so surviving cards in good condition are rare. Please refer to the pictures provided for card condition.
