Unique and eye-catching wrap maxi skirt made out of authentic Japanese kimono.
This particular kimono is an gorgeous kurotomesode- heavy silk crepe kimono used by women on official occasions. Features a stunning pattern of vermilion and gold hand-held fans, embroidered with a metal thread.
Skirt top is made of dark red silk obi. Edge of the hem is finished with a red silk in more vivid shade.
It is reversible! The other side is plain black, with small white kamon (family crest) near the waistline, and good a wide strip of red silk at the bottom.
The garment is made out of almost 2.5m of fabric.
It is a wrap skirt, which waist size can be easily adjusted. Convenient slit in the fabric allows for easier wrapping and adjustment of the wrapping straps.
