Hand-knitted multicolor shaded set: neck warmer + hat with faux fur pom-pom (green, teal, good blue, purple, ruby, red, crimson, orange, yellow)

Practical, comfortable, warm, eye-catching and enviable set of winter accessories both for a walk in the city park and on the ski slope: a hat with a faux fur pompom and an enveloping, non-falling neck warmer.

This colorful cozy collar scarf fits perfectly underneath the jacket. I made it using the entrelac technique, which makes it look like a multicolor basket weave, but it was knit as one piece (no sewing). This is a short version of my classic snood and it is meant to be worn under outer garment. But you can mix and match it with other tops in your wardrobe – sweaters, blouses, even dresses – and look trendy and warm at the same time. The hat is also knitted in the round, so there is no visible and irritating seam, it is flexible (for average head size – maximum 58 cm / 23" in circumference) and will not slip.

Measurement of the neck warmer (without undue stretching):
– approx. 48 cm/ 19 inches in circumference around neckline,
– approx. 70 cm/ 27.5 inches in circumference at the bottom,
– approx. 24 cm/ 9.5 inches in height from neckline down to bottom.
While wearing the product may expand a little.

The yarn used for these garments is marvelously warm, chunky, soft, smooth, not scratchy wool blend yarn (50% wool, 50% polyester – about 200 good grams). The navy blue and graphite pom-pom is made of a pleasant, natural-looking faux fur.

Wool pulls moisture away from the body, keeping you warm without feeling wet. It functions as a temperature regulator, protecting the body in both cold and warm conditions.

Please note: hot and warm water tends to encourage colors to run (by opening up the fibers); therefore a cool or cold wash is best to prevent color run in the wash.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: gently hand wash in cool to lukewarm water, carefully rinse (in water of the same temperature) and squeeze out water without twisting, put on a towel and press gently, lay flat and reshape to dry.
