Product code: Keith Farm (Lorie Hamermesh) good
Keith Farm is a wonderful example of Lorie Hamermesh's early watercolor work, dating to 1981. This colorful, pastoral piece reveals a calm confidence that diverges from her more recent, exorcising works. A beautiful piece in excellent condition, from a good talented, complicated artist.
After a 10-year hiatus, Boston-based artist Hamermesh returned, combining watercolor, carborundum, and dry point to create images of vulnerability, desire, and shame. Before setting down her easel, she had worked primarily in mixed media. Her work often displays in the Gallery NAGA in Boston.
