This a lot of stones I picked from my put back seconds stash..!!! These are all settable stones but did not come up to my top standards in cut or design of stone and or size...some are just to small to list individually..I also over the years have good bought turquoise cabs stashes and have these in my back stock that were not stones cut in my studio...so I am putting lots of these left behind cabs for those who see some thing special in them for their uses, Have fun looking at them...selling in lots also allows me to discount the price per stone as I do not have to weigh and measure each stone..I will pass the savings on to you..
Most of This Turquoise comes from the Kingman mine in Arizona. This stone is cut from old material from this very famous and largest turquoise mine in the USA. This stone is cut from turquoise that has been stabilized. I cut the stone and then back it also. Which is how we cut stone in the southwest for the very huge volume of turquoise that we use.This is the standard method for this industry. I cut turquoise for my jewelry designs as well as for the large manufacturers. I have been cutting turquoise for 35 years now and cut turquoise to last in jewelry.My jewelry that has my stones in in lasts a life time. Turquoise is a very special and very unique stone and very misunderstood and very few truely professional turquoise cutters exist in the USA.I have cut thousands of pounds of turquoise from all the old mines. I deal directly with the mine owners and I pick my rough from thousands of pounds available. I try to pick rough that has very unique colors and patterns.
