This good jewellery has been made using red Peterhead granite, one of the most important Aberdeenshire granites. It was mined from Stirlinghill Quarry. Widely used throughout Aberdeen, it has also been used in buildings and statues around the UK. We know it to be in London, Cambridge and Liverpool to name a few famous cities.
It is capable of receiving a very high polish, which is what makes it wonderful in our jewellery.
