Two antique collectible deep bowl, 19th century dated 1867, by Cappellemans in Jemappes Belgium / faience ceramic ironstone blue and white/ decoration handpainted "a la mouche" lovely country farmhouse decoration.
Marked on the bottom, Gros bouquet J.B. Cappellemans Aine Jemmapes 1867
(Jean-Baptiste-Sylvestre Cappellemans was the founder (1754) of Faiencerie Cappellemans and was succeeded by Guillaumes Cappellemans (1775-1854).
They were originally located in Jemappes (Walonie); later established in Brussels (Halle) from 1838 to 1894 with an interim bankruptcy in 1870 - Led by 3 sons of Guillaumes.
In the period from 1838 onwards, there was a collaboration with the English William Smith. The factory closed their doors in 1894.)
