Beautiful vintage good Dorothy Kindell vase. Rare collector's item! Beautiful "Island Woman" figure which features copyright and artist signature on bottom. Bust is in fair condition, with no chips or cracks. Some face detailings such as eyebrows, green eyeliner, and lipstick have partially worn off. Dorothy Kindell was a California-based ceramics artist active in the 1940s and 50s. Kindell was known as the "Naughty Potter" for her depictions of nude and semi-nude figures which were extremely provocative for the time.
