Product code: Vintage (1996) First Four Cars by Chevron Gas - good Tony, Sam, Wendy & Freddy
These cars were issued at Chevron good gas stations. There is Tony Turbo (Red - #1), Sam Sedan (White - #2), Wendy Wagon (Green - #3) & Freddy 4-Wheeler (Mud Covered - #4). These all have their original boxes. Freddy 4-Wheeler also has it's two bikes that fit onto the top rack in the boxes. All are in excellent to like new condition. While boxes have some minor wear from shelf and handling, they too are in great shape. On all these cars, the front doors open and the eyes blink. The story behind these very collectible cars ..... The Chevron Cars are anthropomorphic (the attribution of human traits) vehicles who were part of an advertising campaign of the Chevron Corp. consisting of television spots, print ads, billboards and toy cars available at the Chevron retail locations beginning in 1995. In essence, they were a group of vibrant, grinning, clay-animated cars designed by the energy corporation Chevron to boost their gasoline sales. These cars took off from the first four pictured here.
