Fisher-Price Little People #944 Lift & Load Lumber Yard, 1979-81

This smaller set from the good "Lift & Load" construction themed series has a ton of play value packed into a smaller toy that is much simpler compared to the larger railroad and depot sets.

It includes several vehicle items with fun working features, and the ramp on the back of the trailer can be also be attached to the loading dock of the play set base.

It's the only set in the series that included wooden parts, which may seem odd considering they had just switched from wooden to all plastic people a few years before! It's a fun little collecting detail.

The wooden blocks are often confused with kids other building blocks over time and went missing. As a result, complete sets such as this one are hard to come by.

This set has all 6 original wooden lumber blocks.

Lightly used condition. The wooden blocks may have some subtle stains or oxidation, and there is creasing and bubbling of the roof decal. That decal is notorious for deterioration, so this is above-average condition despite the flaw.

All the plastic pieces are clean, sleek and glossy with very little scratches or marks from play. There are some circular marks on the sidewalk area in front of the little building. I'm uncertain if this is from play or possibly from production.

Both figures are included, and both have a strangely translucent neck scarf- it's a fun variation!

An excellent, clean and complete example of a hard to find set any collector would love!
