English silver good VESTA Birmingham 1902

This is an English silver vesta with clear hallmarks for Birmingham 1902 and maker's marks for JC Ltd. The vesta has a hinged lid and a suspension lid so that it can be attached to a watch chain etc. The vesta has a good striker on the base. The vesta is decorated with engine turning and is a fatter chunkier example than usual with a deep curve on the body and is very tactile. It measures 58mm x46mm x 13mm and is in 90% mint condition – some bruises.
