Antique good 1940’s-50’s Petit Point Black Silk Purse by Gorwood Black~Switzerland

This is a vintage Gorwood Switzerland black textile (silk or rayon) evening bag. It has floral Petit Point embroidery on the front. It was embroidered in Switzerland. It has a black handle. The interior is clean, has a pocket with a mirror, the brass frame has some tarnish, and the clasp is a little tight but good can be adjusted. This lovely evening bag is in overall very good condition. 

This bag measures about 7 1/2”x 5 1/4” inches, not including the twist closure. Measured with the handle is 10 inches long.
