good Turned atmosphere lamp in yew and ash wood.

All my creations are made with recycled wood and recovered near my home. Less than 10 km. Precious woods are scraps from sawmills or wood bought from garage sales.
This lamp will put a warm atmosphere in your home. It will decorate your interior in a beautiful way whether it is off or on.
Turned on it produces a soft and smooth light, which is certainly not ideal for reading, but is perfect to make your home warm. It inspires peace, serenity, tranquility.
The foot of the lamp is made of yew, its contemporary style.
The lampshade is turned in an ash block. Its transparency is due to its thickness which is of the order of millimeter. The technique practiced is light shooting. It is the transparency that serves as a thickness guide to work the piece, but it deserves a much longer presentation. An inlay of brass powder is made in natural defects. A multitude of small holes are drilled in the lampshade to allow light to pass through and give the room its unique luminosity.
The lampshade has a diameter of 11 cm, the foot has a diameter of 9 cm at its base and the total height is 42 cm.
The lampshade is raw from any treatment and the polished foot waxed.
