Hand designed using a non hardening clay, then molded into a hard copy plaster using my own hand made mold, then hand cast using a fine sand and cement mix, hand colored using a mix of mineral color, hand detailed using fine dental like tools, and sealed with a water based concrete sealer for an authentic old world look and feel. This cute little Buddha was such a pleasure to make and he took me many months to complete, among one of my favorite pieces to have worked on. He sits so peacefully, head nestled on his knee in my garden,with a look of serene happiness. His robe is highly detailed with a diamond like pattern from front to back and beaded jewel like detailing on the band of his garment as it drapes to the ground. He looks quite peaceful taking a much needed nap for the day. I take short naps on a daily basis and it does my body and soul a lot of good, and is such a necessary part of my day and my life, so I can relate. A good size Buddha for a small to medium size garden, house or apartment. Looks great amongst rocks, greenery, on a balcony, and makes a great companion in your indoor sanctuary.
