Thai tiger amulet- in Thai culture the Tiger is regarded as one of the most powerful protective symbols. This good one is carved from black coral with some gold leaf applied to the front and covered in lacquer to give it a pleasing appearance. Acquired in Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand about 20 years ago, this is the only one I have ever seen. H: 6.5cm/2.5in and W: (at base) 4.2cm/1.7in.
