The front and back of this lively wooden box has been meticulously covered with flat pectin shells, sand dollars, Tahitian orange snails, tan rice shells, tiny baby starfish and white rice shells, all crowned with a large blue-green limpet shell flower with a Tahitian orange snail center. The sides of this KEEPSAKE, TRINKET or JEWELRY Box are covered with pearlized umbonium shells while the inside of the case is lined with dark espresso brown felt. The bun-style feet are actually sliced and stacked cowrie shells. The brass hook & eye clasp keep the KEEPSAKE BOX or JEWELRY Box and its contents securely out of sight and makes excellent storage.
