Roseville Pottery Autumn Leaves 2 Handle Pedestal Vase - good Vintage

I'm pleased to offer this beautiful vase. Roseville created this piece in the 1940's in its stunning Autumn Leaves design. This stylized "Art Decor" pottery vase has a raised wood pattern as the base design with and overlay of Autumn Leaves and Berries as the main design element near the top of the vase. The handles have a branch like appearance. On the bottom of the vase are the following raised markings: Roseville, U. S. A., 157 - 8*. There is also a grease pencil marking of a 10. What a beautiful piece for anyone that loves Roseville Pottery or anyone that loves autumn decorating.

History of Roseville Pottery:
The Roseville Pottery Company was an American art pottery manufacturer in the 19th and 20th centuries. Along with Rookwood Pottery and Weller Pottery, it was one of the three major art potteries located in Ohio around the turn of the 20th century. Though the company originally made simple household pieces, the Arts and Crafts–inspired designs proved popular, and Roseville pieces are now sought after by collectors.
Roseville Pottery ceased operations in 1954.

Measurements: 6 1/2" in width (handle to handle), 8'' in height.

Condition: Excellent condition, with no chips, crazing, repairs, wear, stains, scratches or cracks. Full disclosure note: There is one tiny spot on the wood grain that missed the colored glaze. Please see photo. Otherwise this piece is like new.
