Stratton Vintage good Silver Plated Scalloped edge Powder Compact / Makeup Mirror - Etched Floral Design - Pat764125 - England - Unused Condition

A Stunning Vintage Silver Plate English Powder Compact / Make-up Mirror with etched floral design. The scalloped powder compact is marked as silver plated with beautiful intricate flower design. c 1950s. Label inside says “Silver Plated Lid and Base”. The interior metal is gold tone. The compact appears to be unused and is pristine condition. Closes with a satisfying snap.

The 1950s compact has a round metal plate which folds out when released by a metal catch to reveal the full powder well. Also has the original white silk powder puff with “Stratton" on the back. The compact is imprinted on the base rim with “Pat 764125”. The silver plated back says “Stratton England” and is a machine engineered pattern of little squares.

The Stratton silver plate compact is in excellent vintage condition. The mirror glass is in excellent condition and gives a wonderful crystal clear reflection. The compact overall shows a few signs of wear due to its age. The clasp, hinges and springs are working perfectly. Please view photos.

The mirror compact diameter measures 9 cm (3 1/2 in) and is 1 cm (1/2 in) deep. Weighs 130 g (4.7 oz).
