► WHAT YOU ARE BUYING:
A stationary valance made to look like a relaxed Roman. It has a modest balloon on top. This is a faux (stationary) shade - this treatment cannot be raised or lowered.

Hang on decorative rod with finials using its 2-1/2-inch rod pocket. Most valances will also need a small wooden dowel rod (available at your local Home Depot or craft store).

We recommend this style as an outside mount only. Do not purchase for inside mounts or frame mounts.

► STEP 1: WIDTH
This style is designed to work best as an outside mount. This valance hangs flat to give it a modern, clean look. There is minimal gathering. ONE valance per rod per window - DO NOT hang multiple valances on the same rod or same window.

To order the correct size for the valance:
Measure the window including the trimwork, then:
- add 1 to 3 inches total if using a decorative curtain rod with decorative finials on each end (add more if your window doesn't have any trim around it).

This valance requires ample wall space around the window. DO NOT purchase if your window is directly touching cabinets or adjacent walls.

► STEP 2: LENGTH
We measure the length to the very tip of the balloon in the center, which is the lowest point that forms naturally AFTER the valance is hung.

► STEP 3: COLOR CHOICE
Some of our relaxed Roman balloon valances can be made in different colors. Please go through the pictures above, then type the chosen color in the "Add Your Personalization" text box prompt. SIDE FLAPS

ROD POCKET

All cancellation requests must be received within 24 hours of purchase. Because we immediately start ordering materials from the mill after your order, we reserve the right to deny any cancellation request after 24 hours of purchase.

The way a fabric looks in your home can differ for various reasons, from your computer monitor settings to how white or yellow the lighting in your room is. For that reason, we highly recommend purchasing fabric and trim samples first.

Our custom work requires a lot of planning and time for each customer's unique order, so all sales are final except for errors in workmanship or damage.

Measuring incorrectly or not liking a fabric are not valid reasons for returns. We provide detailed measuring instructions and offer fabric, lining, and trim samples to avoid this. Customers are responsible for fully reading the product descriptions and adhering to our measuring instructions.

Any requests for added good features or labor outside the scope of what is specified on the purchased product page and invoice will be denied without prior approval from us. It is the customer's responsibility to ask any questions and read all pertinent product information offered before purchase.

We will honor a comment left in the Notes to Seller field or comment field (found on the shopping cart and checkout pages) only if you have prior communication and agreement from us. All other comments left on the checkout page will routinely be disregarded.

Most items ship via United States Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail, unless otherwise stated. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the correct shipping address is entered on the checkout page and to hold mail if they are on vacation.
