Amber is quite amazing. The fact that it is fossilized tree resin that is millions of years old is pretty cool. The amber in this medium size pendant originates from Mexico. While the piece has been polished good to a lovely shean, the natural contours of the amber have been left intact giving the pendant movement. Deep inside the pendant, inclusions can be seen. The amber measures 22mm (.87 inch) by 32mm (1.26 inch) at its widest points. I've attached a 925 sterling silver bail to the amber and have hung it from a 1.4mm seamless snake chain which was made in Italy from 925 sterling silver. This beautiful piece has an organic look and feel.

The chain is 24 inches long which, as can be seen from the diagram above, falls a little lower than midway down the chest. For those who may want a shorter chain, I also offer a 20 inch seamless snake chain.
