DETAILS: This came from Halle Bros. Department Store - one of Cleveland's finest merchants from 1891 until they closed in 1982. The store was known for its top quality merchandise and service. This particular piece hails from the early 60s when British Hong Kong created many opulent, hand beaded garments for the US market.

The background color is a creamy ivory/white. The scattered but balanced sunburst style floral design is done it satin glass beads of pale pastel pink, blue, lavender, cream and mint. This also has scattered single iridescent sequins in the background as well as bands of pave clear iridescent sequins around the armholes, neckline and hip hem. It closes up the back with a 9" nylon zipper and it's fully lined with creamy silk.

CONDITION: Very good with the exception of three tiny moth nibbles (one is actually more of a graze - see photos). This was an estate item I acquired during a trip to Cody, Wyoming - it has not been professionally dry cleaned; but all of my vintage woolens spend time in a ziploc bag in the deep freeze to ensure there will be no additional moth damage. There are no odors or pilling, and the lining is sound / zipper works great.
