good Eco Print Wall Art, Botanical Leaf Print

This is a small art piece that has been created from eco printed cotton duck fabric that has been printed with the shapes and colours from Japanese maple and smoke bush. I added a bit of rusty marks with steel wool. It is a beautiful piece with many layers of leaves visible on closer inspection. I added hand stitches in gold and grey to sections of the piece.

Colours include shades of grey and taupe through purple and copper.

The cotton fabric is wrapped onto a 5" x 7" artist's canvas with quilt batting ... and can be hung from a nail on the wall. You might also choose to mount this in a shadowbox frame. I have documented the piece on the back with "Eco Print Leaves. Kathy Kinsella" and the front is also initialed by me.
