SOLA FLOWERS
Sola flowers are handmade from super light wood of Aeschynomene aspera. They are naturally cream/ivory in color. While they are made from wood they are quite soft and natural looking. Since each flower is handmade no two flowers are exactly the same and natural variation will occur. Because of natural organic material they may have some brown spots (a bit of bark) or tiny tears and wholes. That makes them look even more similar to fresh flowers and makes each item so unique and beautiful.
If flowers are a bit bend just use delicately reshape them with moistened fingertips.
These flowers will last a lifetime with the right care. Please keep away from open flame, do not allow prolonged contact with liquids, and keep these delicate items looking beautiful with careful handling. Sola flowers are handmade from balsa wood. PRESERVED FLOWERS
For the best results, plants are preserved at the time of their life cycle when they display their most beautiful appearance.
They are harvested in optimal conditions with the respect of the environment.
The preservation process goal is replacing the natural sap of the plant by a new liquid - a mixture of vegetable glycerin, water, substrate, and food colorant. That can take from a few days to a few weeks but it's worth - it prolongs plants beauty by years.
It is difficult to talk about preserved plants and flowers lifespan. Indeed, several factors strongly influence the evolution of plants over time: exposure to sunlight, humidity, handling...
We prefer to talk about "quality of life" because each plant behaves differently over time. Some plants slightly lose their color when others darken. Some curl, others bend...
In any case, we cannot give an exact lifespan: the plant does not radically change overnight! However, it is possible to state that, under optimal use conditions, our preserved plants and flowers remain beautiful for several years.
Preserved plants are 100% natural. This is why it is necessary to follow certain rules in order to ensure their beauty and optimal lifespan:
- Fragile - Avoid touching the plants: they will not grow back
- No watering
- Avoid long exposure to sunlight behind a glass
- Do not put it too close to a heat source (radiator, halogen, fireplace...)
- Recommended humidity: below 70%

Please note:
Please check the dimensions carefully.
Most of the photos with a model are with me - I'm 5ft 2" (158cm) so please be aware that if you're taller bouquet will look a bit smaller:)
Due to lighting conditions and monitor settings, colors may appear slightly different than they are.
Items are described to the best of my knowledge. I do not try to mislead customers or misrepresent my items. If any error occurs in a description, it is not intentional.
Tiny imperfections are the nature of handmade work. Depending on materials availability I can use similar sola flowers shapes instead of those in pictured examples as well as other kinds of greenery (like different kinds of eucalyptus instead of unavailable one).
Please read my policies and FAQs before buying.
